Research Interests:
I am committed to increasing access to community-based mental health interventions that are evidence-based, culturally-responsive, and restorative in nature. My work also focuses beyond symptom reduction to include broader facets, including addressing drivers of mental health disparities, community violence, civil unrest, and reparations in conflict and post-conflict settings.
BRIDGE Lab
The BRIDGE Lab examines how intergroup conflict, collective crises, and structural inequities affect mental health and community wellbeing. We focus on practices that foster accountability, reconciliation, and healing - particularly through trauma-informed and restorative approaches. Our goal is to generate research that supports individuals and communities facing adversity, with an emphasis on culturally responsive and community-driven frameworks for mental health.
